Many Colorado politicians were quick to respond, including Rep. Mike Coffman who issued a somewhat neutral response to Trump’s decision, talking about a desire to reduce pollution without mention of climate change. Unsurprisingly, Sen. Michael Bennet, along with other state Democrats, slammed the decision, calling it a blow both to the environment and to the country’s ability to conduct diplomacy moving forward.
