AURORA | On a night where Michaela Onyenwere officially was honored as a McDonald’s All-American, the Grandview girls basketball team put on a total team effort in a 57-point state playoff victory Feb. 24. Shortly after a ceremony to recognize Onyenwere as one of the top 24 players in the nation who will play in the March 29 McDonald’s All-American Game, the second-seeded Wolves got up big on visiting 31st-seeded Dakota Ridge, then throttled it back in a thorough 88-31 win in the second round of the Class 5A girls state basketball tournament.
