AURORA | The Hinkley boys swim team is riding a wave of momentum towards the Class 5A boys state swim meet that continued to rise Saturday. The Thunderbirds — a mix of swimmers from around the entire Aurora Public Schools district — warmed up for the May 19-20 5A meet with seven event wins in their home pool and racked up 392 points to finish well ahead of the other four teams in the field.
