AURORA | A look at some of the key games, tournaments and happenings in Aurora prep sports from April 26-May 1:

(All events weather permitting)

• The Liberty Bell Invitational runs April 26-27 at Littleton Public Schools Stadium and six Aurora teams — Eaglecrest, Gateway, Grandview, Overland, Regis Jesuit and Smoky Hill — are set to compete in a large meet that is generally very competitive. Events are scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday and finals are slated for 10 a.m. Saturday. The Eaglecrest girls placed fifth to lead Aurora teams last season. Smoky Hill’s Zainab Sanni (100 meters) and Grandview’s Adaeze Obinnah (shot put) won titles last season.

• Eaglecrest is at Rangeview in girls soccer at 10 a.m. April 26 as the teams try to play after several reschedules.

• Ready or not, it’s regional tournament time for girls tennis players April 30-May 3 as Aurora teams will be divided among eight Class 5A regionals depending on their place in the final league standings. Regis Jesuit will compete in 5A regionals for the first time this season, while Vista PEAK — in its first season in varsity — is in the 4A Region 2 field May 1-2 at Kent Denver.

• The Cherry Creek boys lacrosse team is at Regis Jesuit at 7:30 p.m. April 30 in a game that should help make postseason seeding a little clearer. The Raiders look at avenge two losses to the Bruins last season.

• Coors Field welcomes Eaglecrest and Brighton at noon May 1 as the teams are scheduled to play a non-league baseball contest previously wiped out by snow.
