LITTLETON | Two years playing regional tournaments on the same course have yielded two trips to the Class 5A boys state golf tournament for Eaglecrest’s Andrew White.

The Raptors ended up with South Surburban G.C. as their regional course again based on their finish in the Centennial League and White took advantage Thursday when he shot a 3-over-par 75 that easily put him into the field of 5A state qualifiers.

White was the lone qualifier for the 5A state tournament Oct. 5-6 at Rolling Hills in Golden from the three Aurora teams — Eaglecrest, Rangeview and Gateway — in the regional.
