Year: Freshman

Height: 5-foot-9

2017-18 averages: 10.6 points, 2.0 assists, 1.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals per game

Season highlights: Vansickle made a huge splash with her arrival for coach Carl Mattei’s Regis Jesuit, as she stepped up in big moments unlike most freshmen to help the Raiders to a 24-4 record, a Continental League championship and a spot in the Class 5A state championship game. The All-Continental League first team selection was one of three players to average double-figures in scoring for Regis Jesuit, as she contributed 10.6 points per contest with a high of 24 in a game against Ponderosa. Vansickle’s 3-point prowess was evident as she knocked down an Aurora-best 50 3-pointers and shot 40 percent from behind the arc, while she was also around 80 percent from the free throw line. She was also one of three players to average 2.0 or more assists and also chipped in nearly two rebounds and 1.3 steals per contest. Vansickle is a first-time A-Town All-Star Girls Game selection.

Vansickle vs. Aurora teams: vs. Grandview (10 points, 2 assists; 11 points); vs. Cherokee Trail (19 points, 6 steals)
