AURORA | Police are looking for additional possible victims after accusing a 26-year-old man of driving a woman to a parking lot in early March, choking her to unconsciousness and then running her over with his car.
The unidentified woman died from her injuries April 19, police said.
Police are asking prosecutors for first-degree murder charges against Jordan Michael Howard in connection with the death.

Police were called March 4 to a parking lot near East 11th Avenue and Peoria Street at about 4:30 a.m. to investigate an injured woman lying on the pavement.
The woman was rushed to a hospital and later told police she had met a man shortly before 1:30 a.m. at an undisclosed location, and that he drove her to the parking lot.
“The man ended up choking her to unconsciousness, pushed her out of the vehicle and then ran her over,” Aurora Police Agent Matthew Longshore said in a statement. “The man left the scene, and the victim had lain in the parking lot for hours before being discovered.”
Police said investigators then began a weeks-long search for her attacker.
After being hospitalized “numerous times,” the woman died from her injuries April 19.
“It was at this time that detectives from the Major Crimes Homicide Unit took over the investigation,” Longshore said. “Just recently, a suspect was positively identified.”
Police arrested Howard May 3. He was taken to the Arapahoe County Jail and is scheduled for a bond hearing Thursday morning.
Police said there may be additional victims assaulted by Howard.
“We urge them to please come forward,” Longshore said.
Victims are asked to contact Police Investigator Harris at 303-739-6714.
The identity of the victim will be released by coroner officials at a later date.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000, police said.
