Aurora police investigate 4th shooting in 2 days; Thursday victim dies


AURORA | Among a spate of shootings and homicides in the several days, police say another shooting near East 19th Avenue and Oswego Street resulted in the death of a unidentified man.

Police said they were called to area at about 8:30 p.m. on reports of shooting. Police encountered a man “lying on the ground, and bleeding.” The 24-year-old unnamed male was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was died from complications due to gunshot injuries, police said.

Police said they have no suspect information at this time.

Police were called out Wednesday to a double-homicide, an RTD bus shooting and a lethal stabbing.
