AURORA | The City of Aurora will host its first Hispanic-focused business conference Saturday, aiming to support entrepreneurship in immigrant and refugee communities.
The conference, called “Innovation Unlimited 2026,” is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the APS Professional Learning and Conference Center.
The event is organized by the city’s Office of International and Immigrant Affairs.
City officials said the event aligns with goals outlined in Aurora’s Immigrant Integration Plan, which emphasizes economic integration, business education and reducing barriers for entrepreneurs. Conference topics will include building a digital presence, starting and growing a business, and navigating how to do business with the city.
Mayor Mike Coffman is expected to deliver opening remarks. Panel discussions will feature local business owners and leaders, including executives from Diversity Matters, Lider Up Academy and Elemento Consulting.
Ricardo Gambetta, manager of the Office of International and Immigrant Affairs, said the conference is intended to serve a wide range of business owners.
“The conference will have something for everyone, including specific information on the city’s permitting and licensing processes,” Gambetta said.
The event is being hosted in collaboration with QR Comunidad Digital and several local partners, including the Aurora-South Metro Small Business Development Center, Alpine Bank, Global Chamber, World Trade Center Denver, Olvera Company Coffee, Aroma Coffee & Bakery, and El Comercio de Colorado newspaper.
