AURORA | Police are searching for clues into how a man died found face down in a field Tuesday morning in north Aurora.
Officers were called to an open field in the 1400 block of Idalia Street at about 11 a.m. after reports of a dead man.
“A 36-year-old male was found face down in a field, with no apparent injuries,” Aurora police spokesperson Agent Kristopher McDowell said in a statement. “Aurora Police Crime Scene Investigators and an Arapahoe County Coroner’s Investigator responded to the scene.”
Police added this their announcement Friday.
“There were no indications of homicide or suspicious circumstances found during the investigation,” McDowell said. “Investigators are waiting for the toxicology report, which generally takes about six weeks to get back.”
The man’s identity and cause of death will be released by coroner officials at a later time.
