AURORA | A dispute between two men early Monday at an east-central Aurora condominium resulted in one of the men being shot and injured, police said.
Officers were called to Foxdale Condominiums in the 900 block of South Walden Way, just west of Buckley Space Force Base, at about 3 a.m. after reports of a shooting there.
“When officers arrived at the scene, they located a 27-year-old man who sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound,” Aurora police spokesperson Joe Moylan said in a statement. “The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.”
Investigators said there was a “confrontation” between the shooting victim and another man, and that both men knew each other.
“The circumstances leading up to the shooting remains under investigation,” Moylan said. “The suspect is not yet in custody.”
