AURORA | No arrests have been made as of Monday after a woman fatally shot a man Sunday morning during a “domestic incident” inside a south-central Aurora home, police said.
Police were called to a home on the 2700 block of South Lewiston Street at about 10 after a report of a shooting there.
“When officers arrived, they learned the reporting party, an adult woman, had been involved in a domestic incident with an adult male inside the home,” Aurora police spokesperson Gabby Easterwood said in a statement. “The man was subsequently shot.”
When police arrived, the administered medical help, police said. The man later died at a nearby hospital from his gunshot injuries.
“Everyone involved has been interviewed and the investigation is active and ongoing,” Easterwood said. “No arrests or charges have been made at this time.”
