AURORA | The office of Aurora Democratic Rep. Jason Crow will hold a job fair today aimed at connecting job seekers with a wide range of employers from across the region.
The event is scheduled 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Arapahoe County Community College’s Summit Room, 5900 S. Santa Fe Drive in Littleton. Attendees were encouraged to register in advance, but anyone is welcome, Crow officials said.
Employers participating in the job fair represent sectors including education, public service, finance, health care, housing, retail, and the military. Among those taking part were Buckley Space Force Base, the Community College of Aurora, Arapahoe County Human Services, EchoStar, Fidelity Investments, Goodwill of Colorado, and Canvas Credit Union.
Several school districts and higher education institutions will also be represented, including Denver Public Schools, Aurora Public Schools, Littleton Public Schools, the University of Denver’s Ritchie School, and the University of Colorado Anschutz campus.
Public safety and government employers at the event include the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, Arapahoe County, and workforce development organization Arapahoe/Douglas Works! Military branches and related organizations participating included the U.S. Navy, Colorado Air National Guard, and Colorado Army National Guard.
Additional employers ranged from housing and social service providers such as Mercy Housing and Colorado Legal Services to private-sector companies including Greystar, Arby’s Flynn Group, and Taylor Trades.
