AURORA | Police say a man who flagged down officers early Thursday while they were investigating calls about shots fired in a north-Aurora mobile home park was shot and injured, but he didn’t know by whom.
Police were called to the M&M Mobile Home Park in the 1400 block of Idalia Court at about 12:30 a.m. after reports of shots fired there.
“Officers were flagged down by someone in the complex about a man with a gunshot wound to his arm.,” Aurora police spokesperson Agent Matthew Wells-Longshore said in a statement. “The man did not know who shot him and was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
Police said they recovered “numerous” shell casings in the area, from two different caliber weapons.
Police said no suspect description was available.
