AURORA | Weather has forced a rescheduling of the second round state playoff girls lacrosse game between Regis Jesuit and Cherry Creek, as it was postponed from its scheduled Friday start.

The Raiders and Bruins were originally scheduled to play at 7 p.m. Friday at Stutler Bowl, but then were shifted to an 8 p.m. start at Legacy Stadium so the Centennial League Championship track meet could be completed Friday instead of Saturday.

With lightning and weather pushing back the two Class 5A girls state soccer playoff games that were scheduled to precede it at Legacy Stadium, the decision was made to move the lacrosse game to Saturday.
