AURORA | Aurora police and the FBI are looking for a man they say robbed an Aurora bank twice in the past two months.

The latest robbery happened Wednesday at about 5 :30 p.m. at the Bank of the West at 700 S. Abilene St. when police say the man demanded money from a teller and fled the bank on foot.

Police described the suspect as a white male, in either his 20s or 30s, standing between 5 -feet 8-inches tall and 5-feet 10-inches tall with a slim build. He has brown hair and facial hair and was wearing a dark colored baseball cap, sunglasses, a light blue shirt and faded blue jeans, police said.

The suspect robbed the same bank on June 2, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information on this robbery to call Detective Mike Thrapp with the FBI Safe Streets Task Force at 303-313-6810 or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). Tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
