Some residents have voluntarily evacuated from their homes in northeast Greeley because of flooding from the Poudre River. The waters have flooded some basements and the floors of some businesses.

The water reached 9 feet on Monday — a foot above flood stage — but the Greeley Tribune reported that the flooding remained concentrated in a few areas. During September’s flood, the water reached 11 feet and forced the evacuation of hundreds of people.
