AURORA | The heat will continue through the first of the week, with temperatures in the low to mid-90s this afternoon. A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon.
Hazy skies are the result from smoke and dust particles being drawn in from fires in southeast Colorado and Arizona. Hot weather will continue on Monday with highs in the 90s. Cooler temperatures will settle in behind a cold front by Wednesday, bringing highs back to the upper 70s and lower 80s. Overnight lows will stay mild as we dip into the 50s each and every morning this week.
