Immigration has been a hot political topic since the founding of the nation. Many people have an idea of what an immigrant is but forget that the U.S. is made up of people from various cultures and societies.
African Leadership Committee is celebrating the leaders of the community this August. With a focus on African immigrants’ impact on the local economy, the event will include a cultural celebration, local entrepreneurs pitching ideas and more, culminating in a gala at the Gaylord where close to 1,000 people from the state and around the world will converge.
