AURORA | Congressional candidates in Aurora are hitting the final stretch. Democrat Jason Crow said Tuesday he’s releasing his seventh and final television ad a week before ballots are due.

“We see values like justice, fairness, and the rule of law under assault in this country,” Crow says in the ad, presumably driving across the district he hopes to represent. “And we’re not going to let those things go.”

The congressional district, which covers parts of Aurora and Centennial, has seen some of the biggest spending in the country. In late September, reports showed more than $1 million was spent on ads in just week.

Crow’s final ad doesn’t mention his opponent, incumbent Congressman Mike Coffman, by name. But the two have battled it out over the airwaves, sparring over issues such as healthcare, their own military service and opioid addiction.
