AURORA | Police are searching for five suspects who robbed a man at gunpoint last week at the Nine Mile light rail station.
According to the Arapahoe County sheriff’s office, the five suspects — four black males, one Hispanic male — approached a man in the parking garage around 5:40 a.m. June 14. The group demanded the man’s phone, and one of them held a gun to the man’s stomach and demanded his wallet.
The sheriff’s office said the suspects then fled in a 1990s green Dodge Ram pickup truck with a green topper on the back. The vehicle has paint damage on the top and the hood, the sheriff’s office said.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP. Tipsters can remain anonymous and earn up to $2,000 reward.
