AURORA | Fire crews saved two dogs — including one who had to be resuscitated — during a fire Thursday afternoon in southeast Aurora.

No humans were hurt in the kitchen fire at 4777 S. Salida Ct. fire officials said, but seven people were displaced by the afternoon blaze.
According to Aurora fire, crews were able to confine the blaze to a kitchen inside the home near Quincy Reservoir and no firefighters were injured.
The cause of the blaze and the extent of damage to the home has not been released.
On the department’s facebook page a fire official said crews rescued the two dogs, one of which was taken to an area veterinarian.
