Season highlights: Williams was one of the leaders of a tremendous change for coach Rob Harrison’s Aurora Central team, which won one game in 2016-17, but matched that through just one game of the new season and ended up 9-14. Williams earned All-East Metro Athletic Conference second team honors with his all-around contributions, which saw him finish first on the team in rebounding at 9.7 per contest — including 13 games in double figures and a season-high of 17 in a game against Thornton — and rank third in scoring average at 8.3 points per game. He was credited with six double-doubles, including one for his 21-point, 10-reound effort tin a win over Adams City. Williams also contributed a team-best 1.2 blocked shots per game and ranked fourth on the Trojans in assists (1.2 per game) and steals (1.2 per game).
