AURORA | Pro-choice advocacy group NARAL announced its endorsement of Jason Crow, a candidate for CD6. The group cited incumbent Congressman Mike Coffman’s record on reproductive rights as the main reason why.
“Mike Coffman’s extreme anti-choice, anti-woman record does not reflect the voters or values of Colorado’s 6th Congressional district,” said Karen Middleton, Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado. “Mike Coffman has voted for abortion bans. He has voted to redefine rape. He has voted to defund Planned Parenthood. The women of CD6 deserve better. They deserve a member of Congress like Jason Crow who will truly fight for them and their rights.”
In a statement about the endorsement, Crow said he would “fight for women’s autonomy, for lower cost care, and for women to have a seat at the table when healthcare policy is debated.”
