AURORA | Aurora police are investigating a “suspicious death” of a man in the 1300 block of Racine Street after rescuers were called there because he was “unresponsive” and had suffered some type of “trauma.”
According to police spokesman Frank Fania, police were notified of the death around 6:40 a.m. Fania said no one has been arrested in connection with the death. Police did not say what type of trauma the man had suffered, nor who had discovered that the man was dead.
Police said they would have more information about the death later Tuesday.
Frania said detectives are conducting interviews and seeking a search warrant for the house. Police will remain at the scene for most of the day and conduct a search for evidence when the warrant is granted.
Coroner officials will release the victim’s identity after an autopsy, police said.
