AURORA | A man found dead Saturday night was shot to death, according to the Arapahoe County coroner.
Carlos Lamont Muse, 38, was found dead around 11:15 p.m. Saturday in the 10300 block of East Jewell Avenue, Aurora police and the coroner said.
An autopsy confirmed Muse died of a gunshot wound, the coroner said.
Police said Sunday they have not made any arrests in connection with Muse’s slaying, but said they do not believe the shooting was random.
Police are asking anyone with information about the case to call Detective Alton Reed at 303-739-6068. Callers can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). They may be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
Whoever is responsible for this good mans death will suffer 1 way or another R.I.P. Carlos much love to ur family in this terrible time of tragedy!!!

Whoever responsible for Carlos death- You will receive your karma, that is a guarantee. Are you happy with yourself? You took a son, brother, cousin, nephew and my friend and love….a wonderful man. He’s home with God and YOU will reap what you’ve sewn……..May there be NO mercy on your soul.

I still can not believe I will never hear your voice or get a text from you again. Los you were a great friend to me. I hope the one resposable for taking such a wonderful man from his family and friends will get what they deserve.
