AURORA | A woman found dead in an Aurora apartment Tuesday, Feb. 9, was stabbed to death, the Arapahoe County coroner’s office said.
Jessica Lyn Reese, 29, died of multiple stab wounds, the coroner’s office said. Her death has been ruled a homicide.
According to a statement from Aurora police, officers went to an apartment in the Cherry Grove East Condominiums at 14434 E. First Drive around 9 a.m. Tuesday. There, officers found the woman dead.
Police said Wednesday night Charles Bowman Anthony, 36, was booked into the Arapahoe County Jail on a first-degree murder charge stemming from the slaying. He is being held without bond.
