LAKEWOOD, Colo. | Authorities say a driver has struck and killed a pedestrian in a Walmart parking lot in Lakewood before crashing into the store.
The Denver Post reports (https://dpo.st/1nOqcxZ ) that the victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital after the Tuesday incident and later died.
Police say the driver of a silver sedan hit the pedestrian in the parking lot and then slammed into the Walmart building.
The driver has been described as an elderly man.
The incident remains under investigation.
