EDITOR:
How can you ensure that the Board of Education for the Cherry Creek School District continues to be dedicated to excellence? Vote for Janice R. McDonald.
As the current sitting board member of Director District B, I want to make sure the person elected to my seat has the experience, the dedication and the leadership qualities needed to be the voice for our community.
That voice should be Janice R. McDonald.
Experience: Janice has the education and background to be the voice. She has worked (Smoky Hill HS and Prairie MS) and retired from the District after 24 years. Her five children have all graduated from Overland High School. She currently has grandchildren, nieces, and nephews in the district.
Dedication: Janice has the commitment to be the voice. She has volunteered countless hours having served on PTCO, Accountability and in the classroom. She will push the District to stay focused on its goals to ensure excellence and equity and college and post-secondary preparedness and success for every student.
Leadership: Janice has demonstrated leadership qualities to be the voice. She’s lived in the area for over 40 years. During that time she’s been very engaged in the community with organizations like the Aurora Human Relations Commission, Aurora Key Community Response Team, NAACP, Refugee & Immigrant Task Force, Aurora Mental Health and many others.
Janice R. McDonald does have the experience, dedication and leadership qualities to be the voice at the Cherry Creek School District Board of Education table.
Use your voice and vote for Janice R. McDonald to be our voice at the table.
