AURORA | With just a week left until Christmas, there’s plenty of time to score some cool schwag for the beer lovers on your list.

And while the old standbys — like a growler full of their favorite brew or a bomber of some hard-to-find seasonal — are always a good bet, feel free to expand your beer shopping horizons.

At Two22Brew, they’re offering customizable gift baskets — hats, shirts, growlers, etc. — as well as gift certificates. And at Dry Dock Brewing Co.,  biking jerseys emblazoned with the logos from their Apricot Ale, Hefeweizen and Hop Abomination are available, too.

Also at Dry Dock’s South Dock, the Ambassador Sour, a barrel-aged golden sour, is on tap.

CWSVzdAU8AAEOBbCopper Kettle Brewing Co. in Denver has been celebrating Christmas for a few days now. Their 12 Firkins of Christmas event started Dec. 13 and continues until Christmas Eve. And while you may have missed the Mexican Chocolate Stout with Vanilla and Bourbon, 12 Hops IPA and Rum Eggnog Stout, there are still several days left. On Dec. 19, they’re serving Mulled Barleywine, followed the next day with a Juniper IPA. other offerings will include Christmas Spiced Ale, Chocolate Mint Fudge Stout, Cranberry Rosemary Saison and on the last day, Belgian Dark Strong Ale with Cherries.

Launch Pad Brewing Co. is getting into the Christmas spirit, too. The city’s newest brewery is launching their Santa’s Rocket Sled Ale this afternoon. The beer is a dark ale brewed with fresh ginger, clove and cinnamon.

And lastly, Coda Brewing Co. is working on their fist ever brown ale. The brew was headed to the fermenter this week, and should be ready after New Year’s.
