Not content to wait until at least Sept. 1 to unleash its latest seasonal, Aurora’s original brewers announced this week the release of their Imperial Pumpkin Ale in 22-ounce bombers at its tastings rooms. (For comparative purposes, McDonald’s is putting out their McCafe Pumpkin Spice Latte starting Aug. 31).

So if you’re in the mood to go ahead and say goodbye to summer, the copper-colored ale — now in its fourth year — is also available on draft, according to Dry Dock spokeswoman Emily Hutto.

The Imperial Pumpkin Ale — spiced with Vietnamese and Indonesian cinnamons, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, mace and cloves — clocks in at 9 percent ABV and 24 IBU.

Already available at the North Dock’s Canoe Room since Wednesday, the South Dock location ushers the seasonal ale in at noon Friday, Aug. 12.
