AURORA | Aurora police are looking for a man who investigators say sexually assaulted a child in north Aurora early last month.
Police on Thursday said a Hispanic man in his 40s lured a child into a white Lincoln Navigator near the corner of East Colfax Avenue and Kingston Street the morning of Dec. 1 and proceeded to sexually abuse the juvenile.
The man suspected of the assault is believed to be of an average height and build, police wrote on Twitter. He had a mustache with short, brown hair combed toward the front of his forehead at the time of the crime.
The Lincoln SUV used in the assault had leather upholstery, according to police. The car can be seen in surveillance camera footage in an Aurora parking lot shortly before 11 a.m. Dec. 1.
