ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK | Rocky Mountain National Park’s Trail Ridge Road has reopened after being closed for two days because of severe weather.

Park officials said Sunday that travelers can expect snow, ice and high winds on the scenic road that crests at 12,183 feet above sea level and connects Estes Park and Grand Lake.

A high-wind advisory remains in effect for high-profile vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles.

Officials say 99 percent of the park is open after extensive flooding caused by recent storms.
