Ms. Bracknell was born Aug. 8, 1946. She was a retired Registered Nurse. In her final years, she devoted her time to sewing much-needed baby items for Birthline of Colorado, a non-judgmental and free place for women and young girls facing an unplanned pregnancy. Although she was severely disabled with fibromyalgia and almost totally housebound, she somehow always found a little extra energy to lend a hand whenever a neighbor, friend or family member needed her.
Nora is survived by her father, sister Patricia Harrelson of Arvada, sister Teri of Washington state, daughter Honora (Norean) Steckelberg of Norfolk, Neb., and twin grandbabies.
In lieu of flowers, friends ask that others send donations to either Kingdom Building Ministries, or, toBirthline of Colorado, 2346 Gilpin St., Denver, 80205.
