No device found after bomb threat to Aurora Walmart


AURORA | Police found no explosive device after a Walmart store in the southwestern corner of the city was evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Police responded to the Walmart Supercenter at 9400 E. Hampden Ave. after 5 p.m. Monday evening after a bomb threat was made to the store.

According to Aurora police, store management decided to evacuate the building as a precaution as police investigators worked their way through the store’s interior and surrounding area.

Despite not finding any explosive devices, the investigation into the threat made to the store is ongoing, according to Aurora police.
