Teen boy expected to survive Wednesday shooting at Colfax convenience store

AURORA | A teenage boy was shot and wounded during an argument that erupted at an East Colfax convenience store Wednesday evening and police are searching for a gunman.

Police said the boy’s injuries are not life threatening. The shooting was reported at about 5:30 p.m. on Twitter. Police said only that a potential suspect in the shooting is a black male last seen driving a white sedan.

Anyone who may have potential information related to this shooting is encouraged to call the Denver Metro Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and be eligible for rewards up to $2,000

All guns can’t be banned or confiscated
We can’t incarcerate everyone
Stop and frisk is illegal
We can’t have everyone packing a gun.
