AURORA | Police released few details about a shooting in northwest Aurora yesterday afternoon that left one man wounded.

Police reported on social media at about 5 p.m. that officers were investigating a shooting near East Colfax Avenue and Beeler Street.

“An adult male transported to the hospital in serious condition, expected to survive,” police said.

Police said they had no shooting suspect information at the time, adding that “this is an ongoing investigation.”

Police said anyone with information can call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000, police said.
