Man shot, injured early Sunday during ‘family disturbance’ in south Aurora


AURORA | An unidentified man was shot and injured early Sunday morning in south Aurora during what police described as a “family disturbance.”

The man, who was not identified, is expected to survive, police said in a tweet.

Police said the shooting occurred at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday in or near a home in the 4500 block of South Crystal Way. The man was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Police said one person was detained after police arrived, but that there “is no outstanding suspect.”
Police said they are continuing investigation.
