Man in his 30s found dead in car near East Colfax in Aurora


AURORA | Police released few details Tuesday evening after reports of a dead man in a car in northwest Aurora.

Residents in the area called police about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday reporting that a man in a car on the 9000 block of East 16th Avenue appeared to be dead.

Cops said they did find a dead man in his thirties “suffering from an unknown injury.”

The released no other details.

Adams County coroner officials will make the man’s identity public after notifying his family, police said.

APD major crimes unit is investigating the death, according to Aurora Police spokesman Officer Anthony Camacho.
