AURORA | The shooting death of 47-year-old Nathan A-Kol Bright in an Aurora apartment Monday morning has been ruled a homicide, according to the Arapahoe County Coroner’s office.
Aurora police initially deemed Bright’s death “suspicious” after finding him dead with multiple gunshot wounds in a unit at Bristol Village Apartments in the city’s Tollgate Overlook neighborhood at about 9:40 a.m. Feb. 24, according to information released Wednesday.
But a forensic pathologist with the coroner’s office in Arapahoe County ruled the death a homicide after performing an autopsy Tuesday.
Aurora homicide detectives are now looking for possible suspects. No arrests had been made in relation to the fatal shooting as of Wednesday evening, police said in a news release.
Police are asking anyone with potential information related to this shooting to call the Denver Metro Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and be eligible for rewards up to $2,000.
