Coroner identifies men, woman killed on Beeler Street in Aurora last week


AURORA | The Adams County Coroner’s Office has identified three people killed in two separate shootings along the 1500 block of Beeler Street in Aurora last week.

Chief Deputy Coroner Sherronda Appleberry identified the man shot and killed in the early morning hours of July 5 as 31-year-old Percil Walls of Memphis, Tenn.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for 20-year-old Master Titus Uriah Martin in connection with Walls’ death.

Two days later, 44-year-old Moses John Hamm of Denver and 36-year-old Crystal Black were shot and killed in a separate incident along the same block of Beeler Street just off of East Colfax Avenue, according to the coroner’s office.

Police have yet to release any suspect information related to the latter deaths.

The exact cause and manner of death for all three killings is still under investigation, according to Appleberry.
