BACKLIT: Tamara Mohamed — Guru at The Chamber; Shredder on The Slopes

1626

Tamara Mohamed is the Director of Communications for the Aurora Chamber of Commerce. When she is not serving as the staff liaison for the Government Affairs Committee and the Diversity and Inclusion Council, she likes to take to the slopes. A self-taught snowboarder, Mohamed said the first time she went up the mountain, it admittedly took her three hours to get back down. She has since gotten a better grasp on making turns, having been an avid rider for eight years. Originally from Montreal, Mohamed moved to the states in 1992, when she was 9, and speaks French.
