VAIL | The Colorado Department of Transportation says a 13-mile toll lane along the left shoulder of eastbound Interstate 70 through Clear Creek County has been a success.
The lane has been used only a few times since it opened in December, but the toll lanes have eased traffic jams.
Tolls have stayed below $10, even though there could be a $30 maximum.
According to the Vail Daily (https://tinyurl.com/zwrrr99 ), the state is now looking at a similar project for the westbound lanes.
