AURORA | The Arapahoe County coroner’s today identified a man slain in a double shooting May 12 in southeast Aurora as 30-year-old Shayne Still.

In a statement, the coroner’s office said Still was shot and his death has been ruled a homicide.

Police have not released any information on a potential suspect in the shooting. Aurora police spokeswoman Officer Crystal McCoy said Monday the department has no updates on the case.

The shooting happened at about 1 a.m. May 12 in the parking lot of the Hancock Office Park at 15200 E. Girard Ave., police said.

When officers arrived at the office park, near the northwest corner of East Hampden Avenue and South Chambers Road, they found one man shot dead in the rear parking lot.

Police also found a man with what they called life-threatening injuries a short distance north of the office park in the front yard of a home in the 3300 block of South Granby Street. That man underwent surgery, police said, but further updates on his condition have not been released.

Investigators from the department’s Major Crime/Homicide Unit took over the investigation. They believe both men were shot in the same incident, police said.

Police have not released the name of the wounded man.

Police are asking anyone with information on the case to call Detective Randy Hansen at 303-739-6710.
