DENVER | Republican Rep. Mike Coffman takes the stage with his Democratic challenger again Thursday in Colorado’s most competitive House race.

Coffman and Democrat Andrew Romanoff debate for the third time for a seat in Denver’s eastern suburbs.

Romanoff has outraised Coffman thanks to help from national Democratic allies including Vice President Joe Biden and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Romanoff is hoping to unseat Coffman in a district that was overwhelmingly Republican in years past but has been redrawn to include more Democrats and independent voters.

The race is shaping up to be the most expensive House contest in Colorado history. The winner will likely determine which party controls Colorado’s congressional delegation, currently made up of four Republicans and three Democrats
